Ginger Wellness Shot

Ingredients

  • 2- inch piece of organic ginger peeled and chopped
  • 1- inch piece of turmeric root peeled and chopped
  • 1 orange juiced
  • 1 clove of garlic minced or juiced
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup of water optional, to adjust consistency

Instructions

  • Add the ginger, turmeric, garlic, and orange juice to a blender or juicer.
  • Blend until smooth, adding water if necessary to adjust consistency.
  • Strain the mixture using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  • Stir in the honey and cayenne pepper.
  • Pour into a shot glass and drink immediately for the best results.

Notes

This recipe can be made with a juicer, or the blender/strainer method.
